For most of 2018 we have heard ADOT will be building a ramp at I-10 and Fairway Dr. in Avondale.
First thoughts were the project would begin in July 2018, obviously that didn’t happen. When Avondale Mayor Weise visited us in August we asked him for an update, but he had not heard anything definitive either.
Earlier this week (Tuesday 12/4), ADOT announced the State Transportation Board special meeting to discuss the project bids.

Meanwhile the South Loop 202 is progressing rapidly. Girders are being set at two South Mountain Freeway Interchanges this weekend (Dec.6,7,8) The Freeway is currently slated to open in late 2019.
