Since August 2016, the City of Glendale has had a series of public and nonpublic meetings regarding a proposed zoning text amendment allowing chickens in residential neighborhoods not currently zoned to allow chickens.
The proposed change would not allow roosters, only chickens, would call for chickens to be in a fenced area and not override CC&Rs. There are other provisions being discussed.
