Last week Congressional District 8 residents voted in the special primary election to decide who will run to the Congressional seat vacated by Trent Franks late last year.
Voters will see Debbie Lesko (R) and Hiral Tipirneni (D) on their April 24, 2018 special election ballot.
Debbie Lesko resigned earlier this year as State Senator for LD 21. She was a guest last June here at WeMAR for Visit with West Valley Legislators.
Hiral Tipirneni is an ER physician and is on the Board of Directors for the Maricopa Health Foundation.
The deadline to register to vote in the April 24, 2018 special election is March 26, 2018.
