The West Valley Chapter of WeSERV is hosting their April 30th Government Affairs Advisory Council Meeting via Zoom from 9am to 12 noon on April 30th.
All members of WeSERV, regardless of chapter, are invited to attend. We will follow our West Valley Chapter Meeting agenda format, but with the online twist.
Our meeting will start with an update by Matthew Contorelli, Government Affairs Director for Arizona REALTORS®. Get updated on REALTORS® and industry professionals as “essential services”, new laws in Arizona, considerations for the impact of Corona Virus funding to you and your clients going forward, and more.
Next, we will have an update from the Economic Development Department of three cities: Glendale, Casa Grande and Avondale. These cities will provide information on how Corona Virus has impacted already approved projects, future projects and the overall economic health of cities. Listen to how these cities are impacted and take notes so you can inquire at cities you live or do business in.
Our next update will come from Rep. Debbie Lesko. Representative Lesko will update us on what Congress is doing to help small business, the future of programs and considerations of the economic impact going forward.
Lastly, we will have our member driven issues discussion forum. What are the issues you are concerned about? How can WeSERV help?
