In August 2016 I was invited to present a webinar on solar issues sellers should consider when they are considering placing their property on the market. It was an interactive webinar hosted by the Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) @AARSuccess. Attendees asked questions and gave input on their experiences in the field.
As property owners (commercial and residential) increasingly add solar to their properties, whether leased or owned, questions will be asked by the buyer. Questions the seller should be prepared to answer.
Additionally, 2015 and 2016 saw significant changes to Arizona State law enhancing consumer protections and the ability of sellers to give detailed, proper disclosures to the potential buyers.
